In other day, I said “capital is modern region”.
Modern region is not only capital but also nation state.
State before modern is not object to follow at risk of their life.
When foreign army invaded their state, people offered foods to protect their life from invader.
But modern state has ingenious system.
It is education, factory, army, prison, so on, these systems are tool for “subjectivation”.
Moreover, characteristic of nationalism is ideological sparseness.
Contents of nationalism’s ideology are that human beings and nation are united.
Fact is that nation made people believe this simple doctrine.
先日、資本は現代の宗教だと述べた。
現代の宗教は資本だけではない。
国民国家もそうなのだ。
近代以前の国家は、人民にとっては命を懸けて守るものではなかった。
外国の軍隊が侵入してきたとき、人々は新たな支配者をやりすごすために食糧を差し出したものだ。
しかし、近代国家は自発的に国家に命をかける巧妙な仕組みを持っている。
教育、工場、軍隊、監獄などあらゆるものが「臣民化」のための道具である。
しかも、ナショナリズムは、思想的に無内容であることが特徴である。
国家と自分が一体であるというのが唯一の中身である。
この単純な教義を国家は繰り返し人民に信じ込ませたというのが真相である。
